Who is Dione D.N.A Sams? #OfficialHype

Dione D.N.A Sams is a global hip hop recording artist, songwriter & producer located in the Midwest area of the United States, he is also C.E.O of Came Along Way Records. Born and raised in Gary, Indiana D.N.A was inspired by early hip hop pioneers such as Rakim and Tupac, he loves the way the culture has evolved with no limitations on style and/or content and hopes to bring the genre back to it’s roots with an up-to-date feel. This MC has captured the attention of fans domestically and globally, his authentic, polished, hard rider sound has reached as far as Japan and Thailand. His current CD entitled Relentless has strong lyrical content paired with hard knocking beats and R & B influences which is sure to please all hip hop lovers and proves that he is a force to be reckoned with!

Dione D.N.A Sams is a loving father, hard worker who thrives off of creating music and being a part of the hip hop culture.

Tell us about your current project?

My current project which is entitled Relentess, is a CD with strong lyrical content, dope beats with R & B influences that everyone can enjoy and it’s available on iTunes.

What’s happened in your career that makes you feel this is the industry for you?

When my music started to get the attention of listeners overseas in Japan, Brazil, Thailand and Beijing.

What makes you the next great happening?

I’m a true MC…I write, produce, and engineer all my own material which is rare in today’s Hip Hop…it comes natural to me…it’s my passion I was meant to do this.

Are your currently signed to a label or have any situation in the making?

I’m an independent artist signed to my own label, “Came Along Way Records” and currently interested in a distribution deal for my label.

Who and what are your influences?

My Father because he encouraged me to never give up on my dreams. Rakim is the one who put a spark within me to want to start rapping, I saw him in concert and it was a wrap! Tupac for the diversity and meaning in his music and for the trials and triumphs he faced.

What should people expect from your upcoming 2016 projects?

Next year is going to be a big year for me. I currently have new music in production which should be released by March/April 2016. I’m also working on my D.N.A t-shirt line for men and women which will be sold on my website at www.dnamusicnow.com. Also, along with my business partner we are in the early stages of creating custom microphones for the public continue to check my website for updates!

Is there anything you would like our readers to know?

I recorded two songs on the Daz Dillinger “Who Ride Wit Us” Tha Compalation Vol. 2 CD “Do U Wanna Roll Wit Me” and “I Gotta Git This Money”. Along with Snoop Dogg, E 40, Slim Thugg, Uncle Luke etc…

Last but not least, HYPE wants to know…What’s your CRAZIEST “Where they do that at?!” moment…

I was actually in the middle of an onstage performance in Michigan and this drunk dude got on stage and was asking me questions about a local artist, pulling on my shirt and everything security was not on their job, they didn’t even try to remove him from off the stage lol!
