Multi-award-winning artist Stonebwoy released his new single, “Pray for Me”, produced by Sammy Sosa (Tyla, “Water”) and features legendary Grammy award-winning musician Wyclef Jean.
The track promises to blend Stonebwoy’s distinctive Afro-dancehall style with Wyclef’s iconic international flair. “Pray for Me,” a soulful anthem, explores the power of prayer, resilience, and faith as displayed on the song’s chorus –

Yawa o Yawa o
Using broken English and his local dialect, Stonebwoy asks his brothers and sisters to pray for him in troubled times as he exclaims “Yawa o Yawa o.” Wyclef Jean compliments Stonebwoy’s sound as he adds his signature Hip-Hop and Caribbean influences and profound lyrical depth to the song.

The visuals further amplify and support the cross-continental musical experience as we see a young man struggling with his own demons. This rhythmic and melodic cross-continental anthem boasts Afropop, Hip hop, and Dancehall sounds. “Pray for Me” is the latest single from Stonebwoy’s upcoming sixth studio album that is due out later this year.
It comes on the heels of his first two releases “Ekebele,” featuring Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck and “Your Body,” a fun and flirty summer bop. Earlier this year Stonebwoy announced a new global distribution and label-services deal with Warner Music Group’s ADA Worldwide.
