Broken Planet Return For AW24 With ‘Cosmic Speed’ Collection

UK streetwear brand Broken Planet are returning with ‘Cosmic Speed’, their first drop of AW24. The new collection demonstrates further originality from the company with a new range of highly anticipated pieces, as well as some restocks of fan favourites. Cosmic Speed is set to drop at 8PM GMT on Sunday, September 8th.

Broken Planet have taken huge strides this year, becoming synonymous with streetwear in the United Kingdom and across the globe. They have released four capsule collections as well as two Basics ranges this year, all of which sold out rapidly. Moreover, the brand celebrated a homecoming to the owners homeland of Lithuania with a wildly successful pop up, and also collaborated with UK Rap superstars D-Block Europe on an album and T-Shirt bundle that saw them secure a number one in the Official UK Charts.

Cosmic Speed sees continued innovation from Broken Planet, adding fresh elements to their signature style. The new drop has a focus on denim, with a Washed Grey Biker Jacket a standout of the collection having been in development for over 12 months. Elsewhere, there are embossed BP denim items, as well as the hotly anticipated long sleeve thermal jersey and a black and silver iteration of the Broken Planet American Football jersey.

On top of this, the brand are maintaining their mission to add exciting, unique takes to womenswear to their drops, something that co-founder Indrė Narbutaitė is passionate about. This manifests itself in the Pink Star Girl Football Jersey, which is sure to be a sought after item for BP’s female contingent. The collection also sees a restock of some fan favourites, including the grey planet zip up hoodie and sweats as well as the highly requested 2-in-1 Camo Cargo pants/shorts. There will also be a return for the reflective nylon track set in an Khaki Green colour way.

With celebrity admirers ranging from SZA and Kehlani to Jude Bellingham and iShowSpeed, Broken Planet are firmly part of the streetwear zeitgeist and this drop looks set to keep them at the forefront of their craft. This year has seen incredible steps forward from the brand and Cosmic Speed looks to continue this upward trajectory.
