New Release from Toosii “Fuk You Mean” On South Coast Music Group / Capitol Records
Quadruple Platinum hitmaker Toosii shares his personal journey of heartbreak in his single ‘Fuk You Mean.’ The song, previously teased on social media, is a raw and unapologetic expression of his feelings. Released via South Coast Music Group/Capitol Records, Toosii’s lyrics resonate with anyone who has felt unappreciated in a relationship. He reveals how he gave everything he had to make his partner happy, only to feel underappreciated. His words paint a vivid picture of how a selfish partner can derail a once-promising relationship. ‘I bet the mall ain’t enough, bags ain’t enough, Paris ain’t enough, huh / I take you shopping, bought you all kinds of shit that made your friend wanna fuck,’ sings Toosii. ‘Fuk You Mean’ is the follow-up to Toosii’s single “Where You Been,” released in June.
When Toosii reached the one-year anniversary of his debut album NAUJOUR earlier this year, he achieved two impressive new milestones – the RIAA certified the album Gold and its smash single, “Favorite Song,” achieved 4x Platinum status. “Favorite Song” hit No. 1 at Rhythm & Urban radio and entered the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100 after the arrival of remixes featuring Khalid and Future.
The track – which Toosii performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “Good Morning America” and the Season 23 finale of “The Voice” – was nominated for an MTV VMA for Best R&B Song, a Billboard Music Award for Top Rap Song, and two Soul Train Awards (Song Of The Year and The Ashford And Simpson Songwriter’s Award).
His sold-out 2023 headline tour affirmed his status as one of hip-hop’s most in-demand live acts and he closed out the year playing arenas across the U.S. as one of the opening acts on Rod Wave’s Nostalgia Tour.
