Nashville based artist Jenane releases sweet summer single “Honeydew”

Jenane brings fans a hot, spicy anthem that will make it hard to resist getting up and on the dance floor… or doing something else. With salacious lyrics sung sweetly over a fun pop beat, “Honeydew” is sure to be the song of the summer.

When discussing the single, Jenane tells us, “”Honeydew” is a laid back summer bop that actually gets pretty raunchy if you read between the lines. Think “Watermelon Sugar” by Harry Styles with a female perspective, and a naughty little book reference that actually inspired the title (if you know, you know). We started off with a funky little bass line, a spicy concept and the song pretty much wrote itself. I love how this song makes me feel like I’m driving along the coast during sunset, thinking about how I’m going to dance the night away (and possibly more) with a special someone.” Then she adds, “If my parents are reading this, the song is about fruit and nothing more.

In person, Nashville Pop/R&B artist Jenane is chill and laid back. But when this high-energy 24 year old singer hits the stage, she transforms into a badass power vocalist that owns the crowd. Growing up biracial, Jenane was heavily influenced by the R&B styles popularized by black artists, and loves to fuse them with the contemporary pop styles of today. Her Lebanese mother instilled in her a love for music that makes you want to dance, and that love is clear when you see her rocking the stage.

Raised in Peachtree City, GA-a suburban town 30 minutes south of Atlanta-Jenane found her passion for music and performance at an early age. With her versatile, powerful voice, her talent for singing became evident and she immediately surrounded herself with music of all kinds. Choir, band, theater, and multiple talent shows defined her years in grade school, and she later went on to graduate from Nashville’s Belmont University with a degree in Commercial Music. Ever since graduating, Jenane has been performing all over the southeastern U.S for packed crowds who go wild for her insane vocals and magnetic personality on stage. Jenane is also a member of The Electraqueens a Nashville based pop/r&b duo. The singer has also organically amassed a following of over 420k on Instagram as well as over 700k on TikTok.
