Album Review: Billy B – ‘Better Late Than Never’

Rising NYC female artist Billy B aims to trailblaze the independent route for the next generation of up-and-coming female rappers and hip-hop lovers. Representing the gritty Brooklyn scene of New York City, she brings forth femme fatale charisma matched with her raw and unapologetic street lyricism. Packaged together all-in-one, Billy B delivers a masterpiece with her highly-anticipated debut project, Better Late Than Never.

The 17-track album features a wide range of Billy B’s true essence scaling her artistic range that showcases the Cypress Hill projects bred artist in a way that will make you either like or love her. Either way you can’t deny the fact that she is finding the way on her terms. Better Late Than Never starts with the project intro, “Big Billy“, which shows the NYC rapper truly knows her worth and value as a promising star with undeniable talent in hip-hop and music. She coins in the first verse, “You know they call me Billy because they know that I’m the G.O.A.T.”
