Rising Songstress, Actress, & Writer Tanerélle Releases Anticipated New Electric Honey Ep

Buzzing space age songstress, actress, and writer Tanerélle unveils her brand-new Electric Honey EP today. It marks her official debut for Republic Records following her signing to the label—just announced by Billboard.

The eight-song EP illuminates the expanse of her ever-evolving sound and vision. Among many highlights, “Blink” hinges on a gripping vocal performance anchored to a rich sonic palette. It culminates on a chantable chorus, “The world around me blinks.” Elsewhere, she reflects another side of her artistry on “Mirror.” Buoyed by lush piano, soaring strings, and her arresting cadence, it builds towards an anthemic hook. Then, there’s “Overflow.” Otherworldly vocal transmissions give way to an unshakable refrain. It tempers a dancefloor-ready bounce with mesmerizing harmonies, teeming with uncontainable energy and spirit.

She initially paved the way for the project with the seductive “Let Me In.” The track illustrates her uncanny ability to emanate longing, poise, passion, and desire at the same time in one concentrated burst of energy.

It followed “Better Days,” which has garnered a ton of buzz. Rated R&B hailed it as “affirming,” going on to praise, “Over smooth production, enriched by warm guitar plucks, cinematic strings and crisp drums, Tanerélle finds solace in the face of adversity. Instead of focusing on the negative, she chooses to remain hopeful.” Plus, the COLORS performance of the track has become a fan favorite.

Asserting herself as just the outlier R&B needs, she exudes substance, style, and soul all at once…

“Better Days” notably arrived on the heels of her 2023 For Sport EP. The project has already tallied millions of streams worldwide highlighted by “For Sport” and “Smear Campaign.” Through her music that she has released thus far independently, she has accumulated over 100 million streams. Additionally, she just wrapped up touring all over Europe as a part of Masego’s “Where We Goin?” tour.
