Achieving Financial Freedom with Justin Wilmot – An Exclusive Interview with the Lifestyle Real Estate Investor

Imagine being able to flip houses in Kansas City while living in a seaside cove in California and spending most of the year vacationing in paradise—all from your phone, tablet, or laptop. Sound appealing? Lifestyle real estate investor Justin Wilmot introduces his innovative Freedomaire Lifestyle System, teaching Americans how to turn this dream into reality.

He’s pioneered a comprehensive program called “10 Hour Deals,” designed to enable investors to close deals remotely with minimal time commitment. The idea is for people to achieve a seven-figure income while working less than 10 hours a week. Wilmot teaches people how to remotely manage their businesses and embrace living life to the fullest.

“My core value in life is simple: be someone that brings joy to the table,” Wilmot says. “I love life and want to enhance it in all ways. This golden rule guides both my personal and professional life. I strive to live a life of joy and to spread that joy to others. It’s about creating a positive impact wherever I go, whether that’s in my personal interactions or through my business ventures.”

The “10 Hour Deals” program builds on his previous successful venture, the “10 Hour Wholesaler,” and offers a comprehensive approach to real estate investing that focuses on efficiency and collaboration. Known as the “Live Life Now” guy, Justin Wilmot embodies the 10-hour brand. Years ago, he was a full-time fixer and flipper and became exhausted and burnt out from hustle culture. He was working 70-hour weeks, seven days a week, completely overwhelmed, overworked, and burdened with debt.

The stress was so intense that he ended up hospitalized. Seeking a change, he decided to go on vacation to Costa Rica, where he had an epiphany. During this trip, he learned how to do deals remotely, which changed his life and led him to build his brand and lifestyle around this newfound approach. Since then, he’s become highly successful and helped countless others achieve their dreams.

More About Justin Wilmot’s Innovative Program

The “10 Hour Deals” program operates within an exclusive marketplace full of pre-negotiated joint venture (JV) deals, allowing participants to partner with principal wholesalers. This setup significantly reduces the time and effort typically required in traditional wholesaling, making it possible to manage multiple deals across different markets with just ten hours of work per week.

Key features of the program include lead generation software, step-by-step digital wholesaling instructions, and access to attorney-created contracts. Participants also receive coaching from Justin Wilmot himself, who shares his tried-and-true strategies for creating a lifestyle-focused real estate business. This includes a unique “Retail Wholesaling” approach where investors collaborate rather than compete, maximizing opportunities and profits.

To gain a deeper understanding of Justin Wilmot’s methods and insights and learn more about his life story, we had the chance to sit down with him for an interview.

Here are some key highlights from the conversation:

Who or what inspired you to pursue a career in your chosen field?

Back in 2009, during the Great Recession, I found myself running a boat detailing business. My dad was a boat captain, so boats and the water have always been a part of my life. I loved being on the water, and washing boats seemed like a way better gig than working late nights at a fish market for a tough boss. Plus, as a competitive surfer traveling the world with my surf team, the idea of a 9-to-5 job was suffocating. I craved the freedom to experience beautiful warm climates, amazing waves, and meet incredible people.

So, I started my own boat washing business to maintain my lifestyle. However, by 2011, the recession had deepened, and boat cleaning was one of the first expenses my high-end clients cut. I started losing business rapidly and found myself questioning how these people could still afford such luxurious boats. The answer, I discovered, was real estate. Many of my clients were real estate salespeople or involved in buying, selling, and flipping houses.

Determined to figure out how to enjoy the same financial freedom, I immersed myself in learning about real estate. After two years of buying every book and course available, I flipped my first house, a HUD property. This initial success led me to wholesale dozens of houses in a short period of time. However, eventually, influenced by Hollywood and online gurus, I believed that true success lay in rehabbing and fixing and flipping houses. Years later, I found myself millions of dollars in debt, constantly worried about the economy, potential downturns, and glued to my phone. I was babysitting contractors seven days a week, working nearly 18-hour days, and feeling miserable. It honestly felt like an adult daycare just keeping track of vendors, getting angry at each other and all of their personal issues.
