K RHEN is giving you an ultimatum: It is “Now or Never”

Rising dark-pop artist K RHEN is tired of waiting around for others to be ready. Her latest release, titled “Now or Never” conveys the painfully relatable moment in a relationship in which love, effort and energy are unreciprocated. “If you wait too long, you know I’ll be gone,” she sings, nodding to the act of reclaiming her freedom. The funky beats from the pre-chorus—like a beating heart—underscore the tense emotional stakes associated with one-sided love. The chorus firmly states K RHEN’s need for commitment and her exhaustion with tentative lovers. “Now or Never” is the self-love anthem that presents a mature approach to feelings—for now, they take the backseat to reason.

“Now Or Never is about the ultimate ultimatum, K RHEN states. “It’s a song about not wasting any more time with someone who can’t fully commit to you in a relationship. It demands asking for a difficult answer—it’s now or never. I like to think of it as a frustrating, yet self-empowering, message about standing your own ground.”

The song was written in early 2023 by Ksenia Reimchen and Jordan Round and was released globally on May 3rd.
