JC Rivera Brings Street Art to Sci-Fi in m00m World Collab

Who would have thought shipping container aliens would be a canvas for street art? Renowned artist JC Rivera aka “The Bear Champ” has teamed up with m00m world, the online audio series, webcomic, and soon-to-be virtual world video game, for a special drop/collaboration.

Fans of Rivera’s iconic ‘The Bear Champ’ character and m00m’s digital universe will have 10 days to collect an exclusive series of products and hand-painted creations available through m00m’s “Mystery Ball Machine.”

JC Rivera (The Bear Champ) x m00m | Artist Series

Rivera has designed and painted 5 original shipping container toy sculptures, 5 digital collectibles, a series of original JC x m00m T-shirts, and is also including 5 of his “In My Happy Place” Vinyl Lamp toys within the drop.

m00m’s Mystery Ball Machine is inspired by the Japanese “Gashapon,” a prize vending machine that distributes prizes of varying rarity. Each spin of the machine guarantees a limited item from the drop!

Fans looking to take advantage of the limited edition drop must pay with m00m’s virtual in-game currency, $g00wiy. g00wiy can be purchased with PayPal or major credit cards on their official website. It can also be earned for free by being an active member of their creative community and participating on the brand’s social media channels.

The concept of this unique drop aligns with m00m’s company mission to “inspire the creativity of millions of people.” “Shipping containers, even virtual ones, are the perfect canvas for all kinds of art and self-expression. It’s part of why my Co-founder Ben Lam and I made our m00m creatures in the form of shipping containers. They are one of the best canvases for street art that exist. I always encourage people to take our m00m characters and use them as a canvas, draw on them, make them their own.” said Jordan Freda, m00m’s Co-Founder/CEO.

For $75 per spin, fans of Rivera and m00m can try their luck at obtaining one of several unique creations designed by Rivera himself. Each spin randomly guarantees one of the following: The collectibles in the Mystery Ball Machine include: 5 Physical Container Sculptures retail value of $950 each. 5 m00m x JC Digital Collectibles retail value of $500 each. 5 JC Rivera “In My Happy Place” Vinyl Lamp Toy Collectibles retail value of $150 each. JC x m00m T-Shirts valued at $75 each.

JC Rivera, a US-based Puerto Rican artist, has been a dynamic force in the street art scene for over a decade. His vibrant, uplifting murals, especially those featuring ‘The Bear Champ,’ have become symbols of hope and resilience in urban landscapes from Chicago to Miami. Known for his bold colors and positive messages, Rivera’s work has resonated deeply with both children and adults facing challenging times. His sculptures and art pieces are highly sought after in the art market, often selling for thousands of dollars.

The collaboration marks Rivera’s desire to blend his street art ethos with innovative technology companies like m00m world. “My main thing is I collaborate with people who are cool and have good ideas. It has to be a vibe. m00m is different; they want to share art and culture with the world. I like that.” said JC.

In addition to the collectible drops, m00m World will host a special X (Twitter) Spaces event with JC where he’ll discuss his inspiration, creative process, and the significance of this unique collaboration.

With only ten days to participate, fans and collectors are encouraged to participate in this limited-time event. The Mystery Ball Machine guarantees each person gets a unique piece.
