Award-Winning Nigerian Afrobeats Star Teemanay Drops Ultimate Summer Smash

Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeats singer-songwriter Teemanay drops his new single “Call Me,” a laid-back summer dance track that dives deep into Teemanay’s loyalty, love, and commitment to companionship.

Inspired by Teemanay’s desire to express what it means to be fully committed to your promise, “Call Me” is a summer anthem all about making someone feel safe and secure. A carefree synth line transports listeners to an island beachfront, overlaid by Teemanay’s infectious refrain of “Call Me.” The single’s message speaks to being a reliable partner and proving your loyalty, showcasing Teemanay’s gift of combining a heartfelt message with an upbeat, feel-good Afrobeats track: “All I wanna give na Tender love and caring You and I, no stressing.”

One of the most sought after Afrobeats artists in any African gathering on the East Coast of the U.S, and with over 12 million streams accumulated across digital platforms, Teemanay has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique sound. Named “Afro-Switch,” Teemanay mixes Afro-global beats and sounds with Urban R&B, Pop, and Caribbean sonics for a unique genre-defying musical experience.

Following his success from his critically acclaimed EP “Konvict Kulture Presents Teemanay”, co-written with Akon, Teemanay has solidified his position in the international Afrobeats scene, touring with Burna Boy and headlining shows at the Barclays Center,  Irving Plaza, Terminal 5, and more. “Call Me” follows up on Tee’s summer success of smash “Litter Me,” which was a quick fan favorite and has racked up 570K streams on Spotify, and is the first single for his sophomore album “Symphony of a Maverick” scheduled for release this summer.

“Call Me” is out now and can be streamed on all platforms here.
