My musical influences are way too many to list, but hopefully the can be heard the music. The influences that deserve mentioning are one like Dark Place from the Chillin out In Dark Place Project. Margaret Cho is responsible its creation, I long time fan boy of Margaret had the opportunity to meet her. Of course I as any fan I wanted a picture with my favorite Diva… She smiled and posed, but could I see past her smile into eyes she was not there. She in a Dark Place and a song was born. Honey Hush Café is an actual place from my childhood, a place that after the sun went down blues, soul and country music continuously spilled out into the open air. It was a BYOB type place for anyone looking for good time, something to eat and could hold their own. “It’s Been Fun” came about will out having dinner by self in Long Beach getting some nigh time video footage and some stills. The song all is about remember the good times I have many memories of Vegas, LA, Long Beach and San Pedro. Just remembering and letting go. Singapore Nights is about a bad breakup in Nagoya. Ending with me leaving Japan for Singapore to get over a good thing. The whole “Redemption for the Fallen” is for the men and women who served in Afghanistan and Iraq. My music is influence by life.
