Who Is Jessie Jukebox?

Jessie Eugene Williams III (Jessie Jukebox) was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Starting , Jessie grew up with an undeniable gift for music and performing as he began following in the footsteps of his parents Jessie and Paulette Williams who both performed at various local churches and venues. Mentored by his father, Jessie began running and setting up sound equipment for his parents at an early age. One day his father called him on stage and requested him to perform. He performed “Rockin’ Robin” by The Jackson 5 for the first time in front of an audience… and hasn’t stopped performing ever since.

In 2006, he began vocal training with an Italian vocal coach by the name of Mark Swindler which helped him join the honors and all-state choir while in high school. This evntually led Jessie to compete nationally in the solo and ensemble competition where he recieved gold superior ratings in the 2008 and 2009 competitions. Raised on R&B, he began recording his own songs inspired by artists like Michael Jackson, Donell Jones, Usher, and Ne-yo.

In 2010, Jessie Jukebox collaborated with Team Network Circle (TNC) which included various multi-talented artists who helped each other in different aspects of performances and artist development. Together with TNC, he successfully performed at Iguana Lounge, Red Cat Jazz Cafe, Club Roxy, and Club Boss. He also began his own path as an independent artist, collaborating with different local artists such as Dj Hardhittaz from ‘Coast2Coast Mixtapes’, Dub Ace, Citiboi Flamez, and Ray LA.

In November 2013, Jessie had fathered a son with his girlfriend at the time. To insure good fortune and security for his family, he decided to put his music career on hold for a couple years to begin a career in logistics. Although he has made a good name for himself as a family man, he had never lost the passion for what he felt he was truly made for.

In 2015, Jessie Jukebox decided he was now ready to continue his journey as a music artists again.Now the locally famous Jessie Jukebox returns to the Houston music scene with a new sound, new experiences, growing popularity and ready to show the world what he was born to do.
